Puzzlebox 2.0 The Second Coming

Again, the corners needed tidying up - so, I cut some more of the 30x30mm aluminium profile to mount on each vertical edge of the base. I also painted them black to match.

You have seen how the sides were brought to life with a little extra detail; I now needed to do the same for the front.


A previous mistake in the CNC cutting had left me with a few scrap pieces of red plexi that I recycled to make the front details. I first cut the sections that I needed from the old panel and glued them on to a new piece of plexi, and then sanded it all down to get a 3D pattern effect. To finish them off, I just added a splash of black color and the pieces were done.


And here's the finished front with the LCD and corner pieces in place.
